Flinter in 2012
Growth in relevance – this is and remains Flinter's focus. As a provider of transport by sea, we want to reach a size that renders us the best partner for strategic cargo customers. Of course, the term size is closely associated with the number of vessels on the fleet list. The vessels yet to be completed – MS Flinter Tide, MS Flinter Trader, MS Flinter Rose and MS Flinter Ruby – will be added to this list. The continuing crisis in our sector creates opportunities to get vessels in management. This year we expect vessels to move to other managers. Our new geared and non-geared pools will be attractive to stakeholders behind single ship companies.
Frontrunner in quality
With us, size is not only a quantitative term. We also want to be the number one in quality. A choice for Flinter should be based on shared views on service, knowledge and commitment. In this context, we regard quality as the binding factor that affects more parties than cargo customers alone. Captain-owners, too, should have an opportunity to base their choice on the added value that is intrinsic to a focus on quality.
ENERGY
Working with Flinter boils down to exceeding expectations. We are proud that so many Flinter workers never grow tired of this permanent challenge; it rather gives them new energy! Our collective energy has given Flinter the strength to cope with the decline in global trade in 2009-2011. This energy will also ensure that we will successfully cash in on the relevant growth opportunities in 2012.
