Captured: Life on board MV Flintercape
Monday, 12 December 2011 09:23
Guido Koppes, a student in his 2nd year at the Rotterdam Photo Academy, has sailed aboard MV Flintercape. During his trip he captured the life of the seafarer in pictures.
Besides his study, Guido works as a photographer for a Spanish agency and he used this trip as a study project. His pictures give a realistic view on the life- and work environment of seafarers.
At December 6th Guido joined Captain David Kater and his crew. With heavy wind they left from Rotterdam to the Baltic. After loading containers in Stockholm they sailed to Sundsvall. There he disembarked after a great experience.

We thank Captain David Kater and his crew for their hospitality and for their cooperation with the photo shoot. Of course we also thank Guido for sending us these great pictures.
