Profile

Flinter is a provider of modern transport by sea and related services. We manage and operate a fleet of modern cargo vessels with a cargo capacity of up to 11,000 metric tons. The larger part of our fleet consists of multipurpose vessels. These vessels have been designed specifically for carrying various types of dry cargo, whether or not combined.

Area of operations
With more than 50 vessels in ownership or under our control, we rank in the top 5shipping companies in the Netherlands. Virtually all our ships are ice-strengthened, which enables us to sail throughout the year to ports and harbours that are not ice-free. Regularly sailing in the European sailing area, to North America, South America and Africa, our fleet transports more than 5 million tons of cargo per year.

All our ships sail under the Dutch flag and therefore comply with Dutch maritime legislation. A sound maintenance programme ensures that our ships are in perfect condition. In addition, the ships meet the most stringent safety and environmental demands. We strive for topscores in the RightShip ratings.
